Cédric Borboën was born on 3 February 1974 on the island of Madagascar, where he lived his first 5 years, then the next 3 in Togo, on the African continent.
A rich and progressive professional career that is complemented by a sporting activity, particularly in ice hockey and especially in golf, which he has been playing for more than 30 years and where he has a handicap of 7.4 (2021). Cédric likes to observe planes and airport life. He is also a great cigar lover. Married to Monica, he is the proud father of Nathan, born in 2007, and Jordane, born in 2012.
Cédric lives his encounters with all his curiosity, his desire and his interest in learning through contact with others. As his heart is used to vibrating with each of his actions, it will be in full presence that he will get to know new people, whatever their status. Following his creations, this enthusiast gladly passes on his know-how and experience to those who request it.
In his work, as in his contacts, Cédric has the art of valuing the added value of each person, to highlight the quintessence of their skills, without damaging unsatisfactory compromise projects. His strength is revealed in his creativity, his ability to value people with added value for operations and coordination, he thus sets up autonomous and efficient teams.
He brings together individuals who share common interests, in order to create in an efficient and winning way for everyone !

- Founder, director and manager of Global Events Sàrl (2016)
Global Events Sàrl, in Martigny, specialises in the creation, management and development of national and international events in the sporting, economic and cultural fields. At the end of 2019 the company will employ 8 staff members.
- Founder and Managing Director of FOROM® (Forum Economique Romand)
In 2005 Cédric founded the Forum Economique du Nord Vaudois (FENV), which in 2015 became the FOROM® (Forum Economique Romand), which brings together, in oven 15 events, more than 3’500 executives, decision-makers and economic leaders from French-speaking Switzerland every year.

- Managing Director of the Rallye International du Valais® (2017)
Autumn after autumn, a roar can be heard throughout the Valais where national and international rally crews compete against each other to the delight of the numerous public during 2 days of competition.

- Rallye Historique du Valais®
The Rallye International Historique du Valais, created by Global Events in 2017 (4th edition in 2020), the historic version of the Rallye International du Valais brings together legendary vehicles that have proven their worth in the Rally of childhood.
BMW M3, Ford Escort RS, Ford MK1 or Morgan plus 8 LWT also measure up to the tricky Valaisan roads, which hold some nice surprises in store. It counts for the Swiss Historic Rally Cup.
Since 2020, and after a great deal of work by the Rallye International Historique du Valais race manager, the Rallye International Historique du Valais will also count for the historic FIA round and thus join the most beautiful historic races in Europe :

- Rally Motor Show Emotion®
The Rally Motor Show Emotion, created by Global Events in 2017, is an exhibition of exceptional historic cars and a show of rare quality.
The Rally Motor Show Emotion takes its place every year within the Rallye International du Valais to dazzle the public and provide them with emotions like nowhere else.
Demonstration, parade or drift, everything is brought together to provide thrills. After 4 years and more than 70 vehicles and drivers, the Rally Motor Show Emotion has become a place where enthusiasts of vintage vehicles can take advantage of the opportunity to exchange on their common passion and don’t hesitate to transmit to each visitor their love of this category of car that we have, over time, somewhat forgotten.

- President of the International Chablais Hockey Trophy (ICHT) of Monthey
The ICHT – International Chablais Hockey Trophy, created by Marc-Anthony Anner in 2007 (13th edition in 2020), is a unique ice hockey tournament in Switzerland which takes place every year in the Chablais region and aims to promote hockey.
This tournament federates an entire region as well as several countries around an international event entirely free, friendly and festive.
A world-renowned international tournament where the world’s greatest ice hockey nations compete againsteach other in the U16, U17, U18 and U20 categories for men and A teams for women. (U = Underage).
It gives everyone the opportunity to discover the future stars of ice hockey at international level.
- Founder of CB Cigars (2020)
CB Cigars is a Swiss brand of cigars made in the Dominican Republic. It’s distributed worldwide. CB Cigars was born from a meeting and above all a friendship between Palmo Esposito (owner of Don Capa factory and cigar brand) and Cédric Borboën.
The Santo Domingo’s terroir is known for its exceptional quality in tobacco breeding. Today, the island is the leading producer of cigars, surpassing even Cuba. After a thorough dusting, they brought this sleeping legend to life and joined forces with three living tobacco Bibles with over 120 years of experience in cigar creation and production.
Thus, the tabacalera factory was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic in 1959.

Talisman Group is specialised in events related to the Cigar industry. It owns the two brants that is has created itself :

Habana Lounge Club creates and develops exclusive and prestigious cigar-related events for the discovery and tasting of exceptional cigars. Habana Lounge Club wishes to make the world of cigars accessible through the discovery and tasting of exceptional cigars.

Trucks Events, for its part, rents a VIP truck (38t on 2 floors) and offers event services for events of all kinds.
- Founder of Business Hours de l'économie romande® (2016)
The Business Hours de l’économie romande, created by Cédric Borboën in 2016, are held throughout the year and bring together decision-makers in the economy of French-speaking Switzerland for quality exchanges in a setting that is conducive to exchanges.
These events take place in the evening and allow guests to come according to their diary and network in a chic, relaxed atmosphere.
